Evgeniy Banokin was born in 1946 in Tashkent. He went to the Artschool and then to the Architectural Institute, after he had graduated from the Institute then he worked as an architect and he was fond of painting.
"What does Evgeniy Banokin think about himself ? What are you - an architect or an artist ?"."Since 1986 the painting has helped my architecture, but now the architecture helpes to create picturesgue my oil painting," answered the artist. More than 70 picture were created by Banokin.
Many of them were bought to private collections in Uzbekistan, Russia, Israel, France, Great Britain, USA, Germany, Switzerland. "For a long time I even couldn't collect any of my pictures for my personal exhibition, because almost them my pictures were selling too guickly. Before they have been dried" - remembers Evgeniy.
When Evgeniy could collect about twelve of his pictures, began to tare part in many exhibitions, which have been at galleries and art-halls, diplomatic offices. The most important exhibition for him were:-

He is an artist of deep philosophy metters and symbolism, misticism.In all his works there is an image of woman. His paints are always rich and clear. The canvas of the painter is full of detales nealy picture has a portrait, a landscape, a still-life together. His works were drawed with fantastic technical, which has taken a lot of time and great passion. Usually the painter works at 3 or 4 canvases at same time. More than 3 or 4 pictures may be made a year.
